Peer Support Counselor

The Peer Support Counselor role involves providing outreach, engagement, support, and advocacy to clients in a crisis stabilization setting. This position utilizes personal lived experience to serve as a role model, educator, and advocate, helping individuals move toward recovery and establish meaningful roles separate from their illness. The role is based at the Coastal Star Crisis Stabilization Unit in Irvine, CA, serving adults and adolescents in need of immediate crisis intervention.
