Peer Support Counselor

The Peer Support Counselor role involves providing outreach, engagement, support, advocacy, and direct services to clients in a crisis residential treatment program. The position leverages personal lived experience in mental health, judicial, or social service systems to serve as a role model, companion, educator, and advocate. The goal is to support clients in moving toward recovery and creating meaningful roles in their lives separate from their illness.
