Peer Support Specialist

The Peer Support Specialist provides support services to peers in behavioral health treatment by serving as an advocate and drawing on lived experiences to inspire hope and support recovery in an outpatient setting. This role involves participating as a team member in a fully integrated behavioral health program, serving as a role model in recovery and self-management, and adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality requirements. The position represents the mission, vision, and values of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe and the Health and Human Services department.
