Peer Support Specialist

The Peer Support Specialist provides flexible, community-based peer support services designed to promote recovery, empowerment, and community integration for individuals with severe behavioral health and/or substance use disorder challenges. The role focuses on facilitating the individual's recovery and advocacy process by teaching skills, promoting knowledge of service options, and helping develop a sense of wellness and self-worth. This position is part of the Behavioral Health department at Providence St. Peter Hospital.
