About this role

The Center for Academic Success and Achievement (CASA) at Meharry Medical College is seeking Peer Tutors to provide academic support and foster a collaborative learning environment for students. These tutors will lead group sessions, assist with study strategies, and maintain professionalism while adhering to a specific schedule. All selected candidates will be trained by CASA staff and certified through the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA).

Responsibilities

Provide group tutoring sessions to support student understanding of course material
Assist students in developing effective study strategies and time management skills
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
Communicate with supervisor regarding scheduling and student progress
