Peer Writing Consultant

The Peer Writing Consultant supports the College's academic success and student development initiatives through the Writing Center by providing individualized and small-group consultations, writing-related workshops, and developing writing resources. Serving as a learning guide and coach, the role assists writers throughout the writing process, from brainstorming to final drafts, while encouraging the development of knowledge, skills, confidence, and independence. The position requires maintaining a professional and supportive learning environment, collaborating with staff, and participating in required training and meetings.
