People Team: Internal Communications Intern

The Internal Communications Intern on SFMOMA’s People Team supports internal communications and general human resources operations within a major modern and contemporary art museum. The role includes contributing to staff-wide communications and events while advancing a video-based “Meet a Colleague” series to highlight museum staff and build interdepartmental connection. The intern gains hands-on exposure to project management tools, HR processes in a nonprofit arts context, and the development of internal communication materials. This is a structured 9-week summer internship with additional educational programming, mentorship, and cross-departmental learning opportunities.
