Per Diem Pharmacist

The Per Diem Pharmacist serves patients by preparing medications, providing pharmacological information to the multidisciplinary healthcare team, and monitoring patient drug therapies. This role involves dispensing medications accurately, resolving formulary questions, and performing clinical chart reviews and patient care unit inspections. The position requires maintaining adequate medication supplies, documenting interventions to improve pharmacotherapy, and reporting adverse drug events. The pharmacist is responsible for the operation of the assigned pharmacy area and maintaining professional competency through ongoing education.
