Perception Engineer

Fortastra is seeking a Perception Engineer to develop computer vision and machine learning algorithms that enable autonomous spacecraft to detect, classify, and track objects in space. This role involves building perception software and pipelines for multi-agent scenarios, integrating algorithms into simulation environments, and collaborating with GNC and flight software teams to ensure reliable, real-time onboard autonomy. The position requires expertise in Python, C++, and Linux development within a fast-paced, on-site engineering team.
