About this role
Wave is hiring its first Performance Engineer to establish performance engineering across its Python monolith, GraphQL API, Postgres and CockroachDB databases, and cloud infrastructure. The role sits in the Platform group reporting to the Director of Platform and focuses on improving system performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency for a multi-country product with tens of millions of users. There is an opportunity to build tooling, processes, and potentially grow a dedicated performance team.
