Permit Technician I / Permit Technician II

The City of El Cerrito is flexibly recruiting for two Permit Technician vacancies in the Building Division, serving as the primary point of contact for the public, contractors, and City staff. The role supports daily operations within the Building and Planning Divisions, reviewing permit applications, issuing permits, and handling public inquiries. Candidates will be placed at either Level I or Level II based on their experience and qualifications.
