Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

The Personal Care Assistant provides one-to-one support to a student with various needs, including autism, emotional, behavioral, intellectual, medical, physical, grooming, academic, and organizational requirements. The role involves assisting the student with daily activities in the classroom, specials, lunch, and recess, while utilizing crisis prevention techniques as outlined in the student's IEP. Employment is contingent upon the student's individualized educational program requiring personal care services.
