About this role

The Personnel Security Specialist (PSS) supports security assessment investigations for the FBI Security Program, including background investigations, periodic reinvestigations, and adjudications related to security clearances and employment suitability. The role provides continuous evaluation of employees and serves as a technical expert advising on policy and program implementation. The PSS interfaces with FBI divisions and other agencies to inform suitability determinations and clearance decisions.
