Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy Technicians ensure safe, effective, and timely patient-centered care by preparing, distributing, and storing pharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. The role involves utilizing computerized and automated systems for dispensing medications, preparing intravenous admixtures, and fostering collaborative relationships with healthcare team members. Once trained, the technician is responsible for teaching other technicians and assisting with administrative duties.
