About this role

This role is a member of the inpatient pharmacy team, working directly with department pharmacists to maintain and improve pharmacy services for assigned areas. The position is responsible for preparing and delivering all sterile admixture products for adult and pediatric inpatient areas at the Medical Center under the supervision of a pharmacist. The individual will ensure safe and efficient patient care by accurately preparing sterile products and maintaining aseptic techniques.

Responsibilities

Prepare sterile admixture products for adult and pediatric inpatient areas
Operate and maintain specialized pharmacy equipment including IV safety software
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of the IV room

Skills

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalentCurrent Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by the Board of Pharmacy in the state of practiceASHP Sterile Product Preparation Certificate
