About this role

A PhD Research Fellow at Simula Metropolitan Center for Digital Engineering (SimulaMet) will pursue doctoral research within the SIGIPRO department as part of the RCN-funded DRIVE project (2026–2030). The fellowship centers on developing brain-driven multi-sensory robotic avatar technology for remote collaborative physical work, in an international research environment with academic partners. The appointment is for 3 years with potential extension to 4 years depending on funding and organizational needs.
