Tyndall National Institute
A fully funded PhD role at Tyndall National Institute, in partnership with Rinn Semiconductors, to develop passive photonic integrated circuit platforms and scalable control approaches for multi-wavelength optical I/O in AI datacentre systems. The student will work on PIC design, modelling, tape‑outs, and experimental characterisation, contributing to next‑generation co‑packaged and disaggregated optical architectures.
