PhD Student

This fully funded PhD studentship at the University College London (UCL) in partnership with the Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI) allows successful candidates to conduct research on human airway immunity against tuberculosis while residing in South Africa and the UK. The role involves utilizing advanced techniques such as single-cell RNA sequencing and systems serology to define immune landscapes and inform the design of tuberculosis vaccines. Applicants must be domiciled in South Africa and possess or be close to completing a master's degree.
