About this role
The Philanthropy Project Intern at SFMOMA supports the Philanthropy Department by enhancing the donor prospect pipeline for all levels of giving. The role offers hands-on exposure to museum fundraising operations, including prospect research and database systems. Over nine weeks, the intern will learn SFMOMA’s prospect research processes, help formalize standard operating procedures, and provide recommendations to improve fundraising tools and workflows. The internship also includes cross-departmental learning, mentorship, and insights into museum administration and nonprofit philanthropy.
