About this role
Performs phlebotomy and related clerical duties under the supervision of the Pathology Manager or Lead Phlebotomist, obtaining blood and other patient specimens and preparing them for transport. Interacts with patients to collect biographical and insurance information, provides preparation instructions, and enters data into departmental computer systems. Works within hospital policies and infection-control procedures while maintaining specimen records and labels.
