Phlebotomist

The Phlebotomist performs venipunctures, arterial punctures, and capillary sampling to obtain blood samples for laboratory testing. This role involves entering orders for testing and accessions specimens in the computer system while ensuring accurate and timely collection of patient specimens. The position supports the general operation of the Laboratory and requires independent judgment in making minor decisions based on established protocols.
