About this role
This role leads photonic layout and design automation efforts for Aeva’s silicon photonics-based 4D LiDAR technology. The position is responsible for building and managing a layout engineering team, establishing robust CAD and library infrastructure, and integrating simulation and layout tools into a cohesive design environment. The engineer will work closely with design, process, and test teams to translate high-level photonic designs into manufacturable layouts while ensuring quality, compliance, and scalability of the design flow.
