About this role

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides evidence-based, developmentally appropriate physical therapy interventions for children from birth to age 5 experiencing gross motor delays and disorders. This role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and families to support each child's growth, development, and success within a family-centered environment. The position may require travel to other UAMS Kids First locations and contributes to the academic mission through student training and community outreach.

Responsibilities

Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to children from birth to age 5
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to coordinate patient care
Complete clinical documentation and weekly billing in accordance with Medicaid requirements

Qualifications

Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant studiesCurrent professional license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
