Physical Therapist Assistant

The Physical Therapist Assistant assists in participant evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role provides goal-directed, activity-oriented treatment to promote optimum independence in mobility and functional performance for vulnerable seniors. The position also involves educating participants and their support systems while providing adaptive methods and equipment as appropriate.
