About this role
An Acute Care Physical Therapist at Hospital for Special Surgery provides orthopedic inpatient rehabilitation services at the main campus, evaluating patients upon physician referral and developing individualized treatment plans and rehabilitation goals. The role involves educating patients and families on current rehabilitation approaches and participating in pre-operative, post-operative and post-acute physical therapy programs within a multidisciplinary rehab team. This is a full-time temporary position within HSS Rehabilitation and Performance focused on orthopedic acute care.
