BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join the Big Island Visits team, providing treatment, tests, and client education to help patients attain optimal physical wellbeing. The role involves implementing individualized care plans, instructing clients and families on rehabilitative activities, and accurately documenting care management using electronic medical records. Candidates will work alongside experienced Physical Therapists in a compassionate home health environment.

Responsibilities

Assist clients in attaining optimal physical wellbeing through treatment and tests
Implement individualized care plans including therapeutic exercises and gait training
Educate clients and families on rehabilitative care and independent living activities
Accurately document observations and interventions using electronic medical records
Collaborate with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver delegated interventions

Skills

Qualifications

Physical Therapist Assistant License in HawaiiGraduation from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program
