PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT NEPHROLOGY

The Nephrology Physician Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is a licensed Physician Assistant who provides assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients across the continuum of care within the Nephrology Division. The role focuses primarily on outpatient care for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end-stage renal disease (ESRD), with collaboration alongside nephrology attendings and the clinic director. The APP participates in care coordination, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support renal replacement planning and shared clinic care.
