Physician Coder

The Physician Coder is responsible for coding and abstracting physician services performed in the hospital setting according to AHA, AMA, and CMS guidelines. This role ensures data quality through quarterly reviews and performs data entry of physician services statistics into specialty-specific databases. The position requires collaboration with Medical Records, Finance, and Physician Billing to ensure the appropriate flow of information.
