Physician

The Physician provides primary, urgent, or specialty medical care to patients at the NEMS clinic, developing comprehensive plans of care that include diagnosis, treatment, and referrals. The role involves performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and counseling patients on preventative health measures. Physicians may also serve as attending physicians for hospitalized patients and participate in on-call rotations.
