This full-time position provides high-quality, team-based psychiatric care, including psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacologic interventions, for individuals incarcerated in the New York City jail system. The role involves conducting admission evaluations, follow-ups, and urgent consultations while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and evidence-based treatment. The psychiatrist will also participate in creating individual treatment plans, providing clinical supervision, and maintaining continuity of care for hospitalized patients.
