About this role

The Pilot/Escort Driver works with the Clayton Connect team to ensure the safe and efficient transport of oversized loads, primarily from manufacturing locations to retailers. This role involves constant communication of hazards and route navigation with the Toter Driver, as well as assisting in cargo preparation and maintenance. The position requires a team mindset and the ability to work collaboratively to accomplish shared goals.

Responsibilities

Pilot and escort oversized home loads along required routes
Communicate hazards and traffic patterns to Toter driver via CB radio
Assist in preparing and maintaining cargo for shipment and delivery
