Planning and Production Control

This role focuses on Planning and Production Control functions for the Newport News Shipbuilding onsite X83 offices at the General Dynamics Electric Boat facilities in Groton and New London, CT. The position coordinates and processes planning and production control efforts to support the continued construction of the Virginia Class Submarine program. It involves managing production schedules, material requirements, and design changes while advising management on program status and potential issues. The role requires regular interface with NNS home departments, Electric Boat, and government counterparts to ensure efficient build processes.
