About this role

This role partners with plant managers at two facilities to oversee financial functions including cost accounting, inventory, budgeting, forecasting, and capital projects. The position involves leading internal SOX controls, managing management information personnel, and developing financial systems to support operational control and reporting. The incumbent will also maintain standard product costs, execute productivity projects, and supervise one cost accountant.

Responsibilities

Manage and direct all plant financial activities involving cost and general accounting
Lead and monitor internal SOX control processes and report deficiencies
Coordinate the preparation of annual forecasts and budgets
Develop and maintain in-house financial systems and procedures
Manage and control capital spending projects
