Plant Operator

The City of Jacksonville's Water Plant is seeking Plant Operator Trainees, Operators I, II, and III to assist in the operation, maintenance, and repair of water or wastewater treatment facilities. The role involves performing intermediate to difficult skilled work under the supervision of the Lead Operator, including monitoring computer control systems, conducting equipment inspections, and managing plant operations. Employees typically work rotating shifts covering days, evenings, and nights.
