The Plant Recorder manages and maintains the Huntsville Botanical Garden's authoritative living collections records within the IrisBG database, ensuring accurate documentation, inventory, and labeling of plants. This role involves conducting regular audits, developing data-quality standards, and collaborating with various departments to support collections management, research, and organizational decision-making. The position also requires training staff and volunteers in plant records management and contributing to the Garden's conservation and accreditation efforts.
