About this role

The Instrumentation, Controls and Electrical Production Technician ensures the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of a 2x1 combined cycle power generation facility utilizing GE turbines and Emerson/GE control systems. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing high-voltage electrical equipment, calibrating instruments, maintaining panel schedules, and overseeing electrical contractors during outages while adhering to strict safety procedures. Candidates must possess industrial electrical maintenance experience and the ability to respond to unit trips and abnormal operating conditions.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair high-voltage breakers, transformers, and motors
Calibrate instrumentation and controls systems including Emerson Delta V
Maintain up-to-date electrical and controls P&IDs and panel schedules
Coordinate parts procurement and oversee electrical contractor work
Respond to unit trips and abnormal operating conditions safely
