Police Dispatcher

Under the direction of the lead Administrative Sergeant, this role performs a variety of dispatch and police administrative duties of above-average difficulty, requiring the selection of appropriate procedures for specific cases and accurate data entry. The position involves establishing priorities for clerical tasks, maintaining communication with field units, and monitoring campus safety systems including alarms and video surveillance. The incumbent is responsible for answering emergency and routine calls from various stakeholders and managing public safety telecommunications equipment.
