Police Officer

Under the direction of a Police Sergeant, this position performs a wide variety of police and law enforcement duties, including the protection of life and property, enforcement of criminal and traffic laws, and response to calls for service. The role requires the use of independent judgment in applying police principles and knowledge of federal, state, and local laws. Duties are performed in accordance with departmental orders and standard operating procedures.
