The role involves assisting in drafting policy briefs, coordinating stakeholder engagement activities, and translating complex research into accessible digital and visual content. Ideal candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote gender-equity lenses in policies regarding health, safety, and social development.
Pauktuutit Inuit Women of Canada is the national voice for Inuit women, founded in 1984 to advance their social, cultural, political, and economic well‑being. Grounded in Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit, Pauktuutit centers the perspectives and lived experiences of Inuit women and gender‑diverse people in its advocacy and programming. The organization addresses priority issues such as violence prevention, health, justice, cultural preservation, and the protection of traditional knowledge through research, policy work, and community capacity building. Pauktuutit engages with governments, service providers, and partners to shape programs and legislation that support Inuit self‑determination and wellbeing.
