Drug Policy Alliance (DPA) is a national nonprofit that advances drug policies grounded in science, compassion, health, and human rights. It seeks to end the war on drugs through advocacy, research, public education, and community organizing, with a strong focus on harm reduction, decriminalization, racial justice, and alternatives to incarceration. DPA works at local, state, and federal levels on issues such as marijuana legalization, overdose prevention, access to treatment, and equitable policing, while supporting policy development, litigation, and partnerships with impacted communities and service providers.
