Polysomnographic Technologist

The Polysomnographic Technologist works under medical supervision to perform and evaluate overnight polysomnograms, operating sophisticated medical equipment to record sleep and wake physiology. This role involves monitoring patient safety, recognizing sleep pathology, and applying appropriate interventions while ensuring the proper functioning of cardiorespiratory and neurologic monitoring devices. The position also includes conducting special procedures, patient education, and generating accurate reports summarizing sleep patterns and clinical events.
