About this role
Temporary ASL Interpreter Pool for Southern Oregon University where qualified interpreters are placed in a pooled applicant system to be called for on-campus, part-time, temporary, and on-call assignments supporting deaf and hard-of-hearing students and campus events. Applicants are not applying to a specific position but are considered for anticipated needs and may be contacted for interviews. The pool may be refreshed annually and requires Oregon licensure and a background check.

Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree
- Oregon Interpreter License (ORS 676.750-789, 676.992)

- National Association of the Deaf (NAD) Certification
- National Interpreter Certification (NIC)
- Board of Evaluation (BEI) Certification
