Post-doctoral Research Associate

This post-doctoral research associate position focuses on forecasting geomagnetic storms by coupling computationally efficient numerical models of the solar wind with machine-learning frameworks. The role is part of the international 'Solar Tsunamis' consortium and aims to produce accurate, long-lead-time forecasts to protect critical infrastructure. The position is based at Northumbria University's Solar and Space Physics research group within the North East Space Skills and Technology Centre.
