Post-Doctoral Research Associate

The Post-Doctoral Research Associate will join the Wound Innovation Institute at the University of Hull to contribute to an internationally collaborative research programme investigating the role of the skin and wound microbiome in cutaneous leishmaniasis. Based at Castle Hill Hospital, the role involves leading microbial genomics and microbiome research activities using long-read sequencing and bioinformatic approaches. The position offers an opportunity to work within a highly interdisciplinary and internationally connected research environment focused on improving therapeutic approaches for the disease.
