Post Doctoral Research Associate

The Castoe Lab at the University of Texas at Arlington is seeking a highly motivated and skilled postdoctoral researcher to study genome biology and evolutionary genomics using integrative approaches with vertebrates and invertebrate parasites as model systems. The role involves generating and computationally analyzing diverse 'omic'-scale datasets, including population genomics, functional genomics, and single-cell omic data, to address fundamental questions in genome evolution and function. Collaborative projects may also cover topics such as COVID evolution, antibiotic optimization, and trans-generational plasticity.
