Postdoctoral Appointee - AI Co-Scientists

A Post-Doctoral Researcher position to develop and advance the IDeA (Intelligent Design and Analysis) co-scientist project, applying AI and agentic systems to biological discovery. The role is a collaborative research appointment between Argonne and Oak Ridge National Laboratories focused on building autonomous AI research assistants for hypothesis generation, experimental design, data analysis, and iterative learning. Candidates will work on integrating AI models with bioinformatics and experimental platforms to accelerate protein and enzyme engineering workflows.
