About this role
Argonne National Laboratory is hiring a postdoctoral researcher to develop a high-resolution coastal-urban flooding modeling capability within the Energy Exascale Earth System Model (E3SM). The role aims to integrate subgrid-scale ocean models and wave processes into E3SM to enable realistic coastal flooding simulations on seasonal-to-decadal timescales. The position supports DOE efforts to assess evolving coastal-urban flood risks and advance Earth system model capabilities.
