A postdoctoral appointee in the Coherent and Ultrafast X-ray Science Group at Argonne National Laboratory conducting research on ultrafast time-resolved hard X-ray diffraction microscopy and spectroscopy of single-crystalline bulk and thin-film quantum materials. The role focuses on studying femtosecond-to-nanosecond structural and electronic dynamics and exploiting synchrotron and X-ray free-electron laser facilities to probe transient states with high temporal and spatial resolution. The position involves close collaboration within the Materials Science Division and with external partners and beamline scientists.
