Postdoctoral Fellow, Biochemistry & Molecular Bio

The postdoctoral fellow will conduct, report, and present research in their field of study under the supervision of a faculty mentor at the Brahmachari Lab within the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Texas Medical Branch. This training position focuses on combining statistical physics, molecular simulations, and physics-informed AI modeling to understand genome organization, regulation, and dynamics. The role involves designing and implementing advanced theoretical and computational research studies, analyzing complex phenomena relating genome structure to function, and publishing results in peer-reviewed journals.
