About this role

A Postdoctoral Fellow position in immunology to investigate the role of immune cells in tissue regeneration using the human endometrium as a model. The fixed-term role (until 31 August 2028) is based at the Wellcome Sanger Institute and will combine cutting-edge genomics, deep learning and in vitro organoid models to study mechanisms underlying menstruation and Heavy Menstrual Bleeding. The project focuses on discovery-driven single-cell and spatial transcriptomics profiling of endometrial tissue and menstrual fluid, with validation in patient-derived models.
